mbX is an upward age adapted enrichment program for school aged children 6 to 17 years old that further develops 5 transformative skills:
Executive Function, Design Thinking Skills, Grit, Flow, and Self-advocacy.
Peers work together in supervised mixed aged small groups to generate a family of learners who support and care for one another. Projects include LEGO engineering and robotics paired with body movement and mindfulness practices.
Older children have the opportunity to serve as mentors and take leadership roles for younger scholars.While younger children learn more self-control and sophisticated problem-solving approaches from older scholars.
